Many mountain-biker tourists ask themselves before setting out for a mountain biking vacation in Morzine: "will my bike endure riding through the French Alps mountain bike slopes?" – In addition to this question, while planning for your mountain bike vacation in Morzine, you should think about how you are going to transfer your bike to Morzine. If you’re planning to travel to Morzine with your car, it’s quite simple to take your bike with you. On the other hand, if you plan to take use of public transportation, bringing along your bike can be a major project. In order to avoid the hassle of dragging your bike through France, we recommend looking into the option of renting a bike in Morzine.
There are many bike stores in Morzine that offer rental services. A major advantage of renting a bike in Morzine, is that you can be sure that the bike you’re riding on is kept up by professionals and fit for setting out to any trail you would like to ride, even the toughest and well known mountain biking downhill trails we all heard about.
Prices usually range from 50 to 100 Euro’s per day, according to the type of bike you have chosen. You should choose a bike by the type of trails you are planning to ride. If you are planning to ride mostly XC, there is no reason to rent an expensive bike fit for DH trails. Don’t forget to rent protection accessories – especially if you’re planning to ride DH trails, you should rent a full face helmet and a knee and elbow protection set.

Help answer the question about drag bike
why does my rear brake drag the bike down ?
I'll be cruising on my 1986 harley FLH and sometimes I can't get past 60mph I barely touch the rear brake and it grabs and squels and then I can resume speed. Caliper?

Holy Shit!!!! =O
As long as he vehicle is not used on the public hiways there is no need to register it, or have insurance. I seriously doubt that you could get insurance on it anyway since it is a drag bike.
Yes, it sounds like the piston may be sticking in the bore.
The other thing it might be is a small piece of crud in the line or master cylinder. It's not as likely, when that happens they usually don't release.
these bikes are insane and awesome

Are you in the UK ? A good mate of mine runs Holeshot Racing in Ireland.
He is a multiple land speed record holder and builds the most amazing race / drag bikes.
As for you left leg been the gear change leg is really not a problem.
AP racing ( them who make brakes ) a few years back, starting making really fast working thumb shifters.
They were made for short circuit racing to start, but I see no reason why it would not work on a drag bike.
If you are in or near the UK, please get in touch with Jack. His services are not the cheapest in the world, but you pay for his high standards and his knowledge.

holy crap…. you’d never catch me doing that. what motors do they use with these? anyone know? doesn’t look like a normal motorcycle engine. and for the people who say their busas would outrun these, you’re ignorant. your rear wheel would never catch long enough to rocket you that fast. whatever though. busas are good bikes. just.. not THAT good
Only one way to find out………go do it!
